National Contact Points (NCPs) • National Structures established and funded by Member States, Associated States and Third Countries. • A gateway to partners from other countries. • Provide support for preparing proposals and contracts. • Provide support during the project. • Advise national governments on FP7 issues.
Role of MCST in FP7 • MCST is the NCP organisation in Malta for FP7. • MCST has appointed an NCP for every thematic and horizontal area in FP7. • Every local NCP is part of a NCP network at the European level.
Role of MCST in FP7 • NCPs in Malta provide: • Dissemination of information on FP7 • Assistance and dissemination of partner search • Organisation of workshops and events on FP7 • Simplification of FP7 documents • One-to-one consultation • Identification of the area most suitable for your needs • Support in preparing the proposal • Support in negotiation and in project management • Sign posting to other agencies and programmes
