  3. Case base Read the case of Blaue (1975) on p.7 • Which element of murder does it relate to? 2) Write down the key facts 3) Write down the point of law

  4. Blaue (1975) • Element = Factual cause (thin skull rule) • Key Facts = D stabbed V – needed blood transfusion. V refused as Jehovah’s witness. Died. Guilty of manslaughter (diminished responsibility) • Point of law = Even though V wouldn’t have died if had blood transfusion, D must take V as find them
