  5. --Start JDeveloper 2.0 --Open the application file package --Compile and run the application

  6. Appearance of the application

  7. Press Login

  8. Fill in the login information as shown

  9. Press Login

  10. Login is successful. You can execute SQL statements using these buttons

  11. Say you use SQL button

  12. Press SQL

  13. Fill PL/SQL statement here

  14. Press OK to execute the SQL statement

  15. Result is shown here

  16. PL/SQL statement can also be saved in file and then open it when you wish to execute it again later.

  17. Say you wish to use Insert button to modify a table. Press Insert

  18. A Dialog is shown

  19. Select the table you wish to insert, say DEPT

  20. Press OK

  21. Another dialog is shown

  22. Fill in information you wish to insert

  23. Press OK

  24. Using SQL inquiry statement to show the table again. New record has been inserted into the table.

  25. You can press Logout to exit

  26. File menus can also be used as buttons
