Do’s of Test Preparation 5 a. Conduct test preparation practices that are in accordance with the generally accepted ethical standards of the education profession. b. Teach, practice, and assess the DoDEA standards, during regular instruction. c. Train students in “test-taking” skills such as marking answer sheets, making optimal guesses, and general strategies for subject area and item formats. d. Review general test directions and procedures prior to the test.
