How to Use the WDVA’s Website • Only veterans who have established eligibility with WDVA and have a basefile number can create and submit an application using this website. • Once you have a login and password you will be able to create applications for submission.
Enter your User ID and Password then click the “Login” button to continue.
Verify Contact Information, check box and click “Continue”.
To see if you have an application already submitted or to check the status of an application, click on “Benefit Information andCurrent Application Status” link. Description of Veterans Reimbursement (VetEd) Grant Program
Application History Page To see a specific application, click on the basefile number link to view the application. Click “Back” button to return to main page.
Application History Page For status definitions, click on the “?” icon.
VetEd Application Enter your semester information, click “Continue” when done. ***Be sure to select your school from the list – not “ABC Builders and Contractors” (sample school).***
VetEd Verifying your contact information Verify your information and click “Continue”.
VetEd Warnings All Must Be Read This contains important program information. All boxes must be checked to continue with the Application.
VetEd All Must Be Checked Once all boxes checked, hit “Continue” button.
VetEd Submission Screen Application is NOT submitted until you hit the “Submit” button.
VetEd Application Submitted This message verifies your application was submitted successfully.
VetEd Messages by Veteran If you would like to include a message with your Application, then click the “Messages” button. *** Warning – this message will not be read by WDVA until your application has been submitted by your school and an analyst opens your grant for processing ***
VetEd Message Option Message screen, click on “Messages” button to create a message.
VetEd Message Option Cont. To submit a message, fill in the subject line and message area. Click the “Save” button and your message will be saved. Your message will not be viewed by WDVA until your record has been submitted by your school and is being processed by an analyst – at the end of the semester!
VetEd Message Option Confirmation that message has been saved Click “Back” button to continue.
VetEd Message Cont. Message screen: click “Back” to exit screen.
VetEd: To Create A Copy For Your Records Click on Base File number to open specific application.
VetEd: To Create A Copy For Your Records Click on “Create Current Educational Grant Application” to open a single-page version of the application.
VetEd: To Create A Copy For Your Records Once the preview box has opened, you can select the print option to print a copy for your records.
