  2. What are they • Galilean moons are the largest 4 moons of jupiter and were discovered by galileogalilei. The names are io,europa,ganymede,andcallisto.

  3. io • Io is the innermost planet.it is also the most volcanicly active,with over 400 active volcanoes. It has the shortest year

  4. europa • Europa is the second moon and most facinating for scientists because it might contain water under the ice.the cracks are actualy fractures in the ice.

  5. ganymede • Ganymede is larger but very similar to our moon.it has older,darker,and heavily cratered.the lighter areas are newer and less cratered.

  6. callisto • Callisto is a dullish moon with an atmosphere of carbon dioxide. It is the farthest of the moons and has an unknown mineral everywhere. It takes the longest to orbit Jupiter
