  1. What do you buy the Dad who has everything on Fathers Day? So it’s that time of year again when you are thinking about buying a gift for your Dad on Fathers Day but what do you buy him when he appears to have everything? How do you find something a bit different this year that he doesn’t even know actually exists? How can you find him something funky and unusual that will create a genuine smile on his face? Do you: a.Go to the nearest shopping centre and wander around for several hours hoping to find something that catches your eye b.Decide to play safe, buy a card and give money or a gift voucher c.Trawl through Amazon looking at the extensive lists of mass produced gadgets d.Think about what your Dad enjoys the most and try to find an idea for a gift based around this Clearly all of us would select option d as the best course of action but what stops most of us from doing this? Probably because we don’t know where to look, which is where the internet comes in really useful as there are loads of small businesses that have many different gifts that you won’t see in the high street shops or supermarkets. So first to the idea, here are a few I have put together: 1.Sport –what is his favourite sport? Then try something in Google like “football funky gifts” or “unusual golf gifts” – this will give you a large number of websites to browse 2.Drink – every Dad has a favourite drink that they enjoy, so what about looking for “beer bottle glasses” or “bottle clocks” which will give you some great ideas 3.Cars – does your Dad like a particular type of car or motorbike? Try looking for “unique Ferrari gifts”or “racing gifts for men” 4.Hobby – what is his favourite hobby? Photography is often a popular one, so trying something like “best photography gifts” or what about “train spotting gifts” 5.If everything else fails, try searching for something more generic like “Fathers Day gift ideas” or “ unusual gifts for Dad” Now spend an hour browsing websites that look interesting with unusual and different ideas that you have come up with by using the most appropriate search terms. This will get you thinking and generate a whole list of brilliant gift ideas that your Dad would love to receive. When you have selected your favourite one, look for reviews of the website you going to order from and consider other people’s comments carefully. Check that the website has full contact details, can take multiple payment types, has the right delivery timeframe options and appears to be reputable before placing the order. Once the gift has been received, check that it is exactly what you have ordered then gift wrap it ready for the special day. Finally, enjoy the pleasure that an unusual gift will bring to your Dad on Fathers Day, remembering the smile for inspiration on the next gift search!
