  2. Hythe Colchester – Wednesday 4th September • Key Customer Themes: • NEW Fruit & Veg: Pictorial bunting and posters throughout the fruit and veg’ sections. Foyer has pallet wraps to look like ‘fruit & veg’ market stalls. • Tesco Bank: Pet insurance incentive of a £30 cash back. Highlighted by till point POS and overhead signs. • Clubcard Boost: £5 = £10 voucher continues to be highlighted around the store with aisle end signs and bus stops. • NEW Autumn Drinks Festival: There are 13 bays dedicated to BWS offers. Also 25% off when you buy 6 bottles or more of wine and champagne. Highlighted by outside banners, ‘A’ boards, hanging signs and bus stops. • Tesco Price Promise: Theme continues to be highlighted by overhead signs and bus stops in store. • Back To School: There are 10 bays dedicated to school uniform and 2 gondola ends with food to "liven up their lunch boxes”. This theme is highlighted by header boards, bus stops and snow ploughs. • General Feel: The store was quite busy at time of visit. The shelves were well stocked and there were several staff to hand and a few queues.   3. Clapham – Wednesday 4th September • Key Customer Themes: • Baby And Toddler Event: Back of store promoting the event over 13 bays. High signs, bus stops and barkers are used to highlight the theme. The them also flows through to the baby aisle. • 5 Star Cover: Various insurance offers advertised with ASDA bank on overhead signs above the checkouts and along the checkout points. • Cupboard Fillers: Images of various products at reduced prices seen on high signs on the BOS bays. • Home-Ware Sale: There are 26 bays and 2 gondola ends with household and garden related items on reductions. The theme is bordered with high signs and bus stops. • School Shop: 13 bays situated in the seasonal aisle with overhead signs and bus stops. Stocking school accessories at low prices. • The Pet Event: The event returns with overhead signs, bus stops, barkers, floor stickers and bunting highlighting the event in the pet aisle. • General Feel: The store was generally clean with shelves stacked reasonably well.   4. Mitcham – Wednesday 4th September • Key Customer Themes: • NEW Christmas Chocolate: Store has 2 bays filled with associated confectionary. • Hot Deals: ‘Get them while they're hot’. Theme continues to be highlighted throughout the store on high signs, focused in the centre aisle. • Back To School: ‘Kit the kids out’. The theme remains in store with high signs and hanging signs above checkout points. • Great Value: Signs continue to be seen on the end of every gondola at the FOS. • Saving Stamps:The Pink Pig logo can be seen on and above every checkout and all around the front of store advertising £3 free. • General Feel: Busy store, with limited space due to additional table displays and stacks.   5. Wallington – Wednesday 4th September • Key Customer Themes: • Love Every Mouthful: Window stickers remain on the front of store windows and doors. Theme continues through store with high signs. • Tesco Clubcard: Seen advertised around the entrance and checkouts. • Click & Collect: Advertising service at the front of store with window posters. • Tesco's Bank: Offers are promoted with leaflets at the checkout points. • General Feel: Staff were seen putting stock out and assisting customers. Shelves were tidy and fairly well stocked upon visit. There are also aisle ends dedicated to beer and wine supported by snow ploughs, header boards, shelf barkers and shelf fins. • General Feel: The store wasn't very busy at time of visit. Waitrose has more and more offers and POS around the store. Shelves were well stocked with plenty of staff stacking.   8. Stanway– Wednesday 4th September • Key Customer Themes: • NEW By Sainsbury’s: POS is situated throughout the store highlighting Sainsbury’s food items. Hanging signs and standees are positioned at the FOS as well as hanging signs and bus stops throughout the store. Outside there are several ‘A’ boards and a standee in the foyer. • NEW Great Student Value: Save up to ½ price on stationery and home-ware related items. There are 3 islands and aisle ends dedicated to student value items and offers. This theme is highlighted by overhead directional signs, bus stops, tax discs and snow ploughs. • Back To School: The seasonal aisle has 8 bays committed to school uniform and 12 bays with stationery. This theme is highlighted by directional signs and shelf edge strips. • Great Offers:Offers continue in store including ½ price, 1/3 off and BOGOF. Highlighted by header boards and snow ploughs. • Brand Match:Theme returns and is advertised within the store as well as outside with ‘A’ boards and bus stops. • General Feel: The store has an impactful entrance with ‘mouth watering’ images of food on POS. The store was tidy and stocked well.
