EL ABSTRACCIONISMO O ARTE ABSTRACTO • El Romanticismo, el Impresionismo y el Expresionismo son los movimientos artísticos que contribuyeron al desarrollo del arte abstracto. • El abstraccionismo se apoya claramente en los colores y formas. Reformula el arte como libre, y como un fin en sí mismo, y al artista como portador de una verdad esencial y vehículo del cambio artístico. Se divide en: • - Abstracción lírica o cromática: Cuyo máximo representante es el pintor ruso Wassily Kandinsky. • - Abstracción geométrica:Entre sus fundadores podemos mencionar a Casimir Malevich y Piet Mondrian, quien fuera discípulo de Picasso.

  19. SURREALISMO • Comienza en 1924, en París. • Se observan dos vertientes. El surrealismo abstracto, donde artistas como Masson, Miró o Klee crean universos figurativos personales a partir del automatismo más puro. Y Ernst, Tanguy, Magritte o Dalí que se interesan más por la vía onírica, un surrealismo figurativo cuyas obras exhiben un realismo fotográfico, aunque totalmente alejadas de la pintura tradicional.
