  5. BIOS Configuration • Enter by pressing key combination during boot process • Esc, Del, Cntrl-Alt-Esc, etc • Some are menu driven, some have GUI w/ mouse driver

  6. BIOS Configuration • Hard disk settings • Can use “User Defined” and manually enter in configuration information • “Autodetect” feature will read drives configuration and automatically enter • Advanced settings • Virus detection • Password • Cache settings
