Philippians 1:1-6 1 Paul and Timothy, bondservants of Jesus Christ, To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, with the bishops and deacons: 2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, 4 always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, 5 for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, 6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

“JOY UNSPEAKABLE” A Biblical Theology of JOY: First, joy is a gift from God. Psalm 4:7,9 and 16:11 Second, God grants joy to those who believe the Gospel: Luke 2:10,11; Jn 15:11. Third, Joy is produced by the Holy Spirit: Rom 14:17; Gal 5:22,23
“JOY UNSPEAKABLE” A Biblical Theology of JOY: Fourth, Joy is experienced when believers obey the Word: Jer 15:16; I John 1:4 Fifth, Joy is deepened through trials. I Thes 1:6; 2 Cor 6:10; James 1:2 Sixth, The believers joy is complete when they set their future on heaven: Rom 12:12; I Pt 1:8; 4:13; Jude 24,25.
