MARISSA! “Marisa is 14 and a freshman at Las Cruces High School.” “She was diagnosed with Osteo Sarcoma (bone cancer)” “The Doctor in Houston feels good about her long-term recovery.” “During last year, she participated in a study, for which we had to travel to Albuquerque every week.” “Thanks for what you are doing!!!”

  4. EDU! …a boy who can only smile The looming reality of his imminent death is always in the background, but Lizbet (his mother) chooses to let joyful living take precedence. Edu is the youngest patient ever to reside in Las Posada, Mesilla Valley Hospice’s inpatient center. “When I see him smiling, I see the beauty of that moment…” Lizbet
