  3. Moving in the hallway • Walk in a single file line • Hands to yourself • Our mouths and bodies are quiet

  4. When you first come in… • Complete your daily task • Agenda open on desk • Read the morning message Sharpen pencils

  5. Lunch time • Sit at your desk while you are eating your lunch. • Ask permission from your supervisor to get out of your seat. • Make sure that the area in, on, and around your desk is clean before going outdoors.

  6. When you finish work... When you complete any assignments: • Read a book • Work on your I’m through packet • Write in your journal • Catch up work

  7. Turning in work Turn all work into the red bucket by Mrs. ____’s desk.

  8. If you are absent… Check the homework binder located at the front of the room by the duo tangs. Each assignment we complete will be placed in the binder. Check the binder for the days you have missed.

  9. Transitioning/Moving around the room • Quietly move back to the area you are told. • Complete the task you have been told to do. • If you have to move about the room, ask permission and move quietly.

  10. Washroom Breaks • We will take a washroom break once in the morning around snack time. • Your job is to use the washroom at the appropriate times: Recess Lunch

  11. When the teacher is instructing • Listen to the teacher. • Show good body language. • Raise your hand when you want to speak. • Hands on your desk. • Ask questions when you do not understand.

  14. Duo tangs L.A. Social Français Math Science • Duo tangs are kept on the shelves at the front of the room.

  15. Ignoring Distractions Please quietly keep working on the assignment or you may read your library books.

  16. Emergency Situations • If there is an emergency, please remain quiet and calm. • Listen to instructions and follow the instructions quickly.

  17. What’s allowed… Water is allowed anytime! For snack time and for lunch

  18. Agenda Message Copy the agenda message on the board at the end of the day. Your agenda will be checked each morning during our morning routine.

  19. Dismissal • Clean up your desk and the floor around your desk. • Gather all of your personal items (coats, backpacks, homework, and lunch kits). • Wait for permission to line up. • Exit by the doors leading to the playground.

  20. Job Chart • Jobs are posted weekly, so check to see what your job is!

  21. Those are the expectations.Don’t worry, we’ll practice until we get them right 100% of the time. Together we’ll learn a lot, and we will have an awesome year!
