  2. Personal Identification Required to Vote in Idaho The Voter must either: Present Acceptable Photo Identification or Sign a Personal Identification Affidavit

  3. Acceptable PhotoIdentification • Idaho Driver’s License • Idaho Identification Card • U.S. Passport • Federal Photo Identification Card • Tribal Photo Identification Card • Current Student Photo ID

  4. The Picture Must Match the Voter 

  5. The Name Must Match the Name in the Poll Book

  6. Name changes RequireRe-registrationwith Acceptable IdentificationCommon abbreviations and nicknames are OK

  7. If a Voter Did Not Bring Acceptable Identification Give the Voter the option to complete and sign the Personal Identification Affidavit

  8. On the Affidavit the voter swears to their identity under penalty of perjury The name must match name in the Poll Book When completed and signed direct the voter to the issuing clerk for a ballot

  9. A Voter May Not Be Refused Their Right to Vote Unless AND Did Not Bring Acceptable Identification Declines To Complete Affidavit

  10. The Personal Identification Affidavit If In Doubt… Fill It Out
