Submit an annual report describing activities from the past year Deadline: April 2nd, 2007 15 pages maximum/2 pages minimum Each chapter that submits receives $100 Winner Extra $200 in chapter funds $1000 in travel funds to attend D6 Meeting Honorable Mentions receive an extra $50 Student Chapter Annual Report Award Winning Student Chapter 2000 (The winning report is forwarded to International ITE for a chance at the International award!)

  4. Student Chapter Website Award(NEW) • Submit link to chapter website • All site updates must be complete by April 1st, 2007 • Winner receives $200 • Honorable Mentions receive $50

  5. Student Paper Award • Submit a student-authored paper • Deadline: April 2nd, 2007 • Winner: • $500 Cash • Up to $500 in travel expenses to attend D6 meeting • Complimentary hotel room and registration at D6 meeting 2006 Student Paper Winner at District 6 Annual Meeting – Honolulu, Hawaii (The winning paper is forwarded to International ITE for a chance at the International award!)

  6. Individual students may be nominated for: Outstanding Graduate Student Outstanding Undergraduate Student Winner receives a plaque at the D6 Annual Meeting (Students may also nominate an outstanding educator) Outstanding Student Awards 2005 Outstanding Student D6 Annual Meeting, Kalispell, MT

  7. Data Collection RFP • Submit a proposal to perform real-world transportation data collection • Winners: • Receive $1000 for single awards or $2000 for double awards • Up to five winners • Data is presented at D6 annual meeting

  8. James H. Kell Competition RFP • Submit a proposal to design and facilitate a transportation-based competition • Winner: • Receives up to $1500 in travel and materials expenses • Runs the competition during the D6 Annual Meeting 2006 Winning Chapter

  9. James H. Kell Competition • All students attending the D6 annual meeting are invited to participate • Students are divided into groups of ~4 • Competition involves a hands-on transportation design problem • Winning group splits $1000

  11. Fellowships • Submit application for Burton W. Marsh Fellowship • Deadline: April 1st, 2007 • Winner: • Burton W. Marsh Fellowship $4000 • District 6 Fellowship $1000

  12. Next District 6 Annual Meeting • Portland, Oregon • July 15-18, 2007 • You can attend by: • Submitting a paper • Completing a chapter annual report • Designing a competition
