Recommendations What you can do: • Down side to keeping everything • Understand what you need to keep • www.calstate.edu/recordsretention • Delete expired data • (unless you are part of a litigation hold) • Preserve data that may be relevant to a litigation • Organize your email into folders • Move data off workstation and onto institutional file share • Use personal email account for non-work issues
