  2. Good Morning! • We begin our day with morning work. It helps to get our minds ready to learn. • We like to work with letters, numbers, blocks, and practice writing.

  3. Pledge and Announcements

  4. Calendar Time Every morning, Calendar Math helps us practice many Math skills.

  5. Math • At Math Time, we practice our numbers, shapes, colors, addition, subtraction, measurement and problem solving. • We love to work with lots of manipulatives to help us learn math!

  6. Snack Time and Recess We Love to Eat Healthy Snacks and Play With Friends!

  7. Theme and Story Time • Through Literature, we learn about our world. • Our Kindergarten Team teaches cooperatively through large group activities.

  8. Writer's Workshop • Writing skills are one of the most important components of Kindergarten. • While allowing the student’s to choose what they write about, we work on the individual child’s needs.

  9. Lunch When: 11:30am-12:00pm How Much: $1.75 Please pre-purchase your lunch tickets weekly/monthly in the cafeteria. Snacks can be purchased on Friday only!

  10. Structured P.E. Structured P.E. gets our wiggles out and our minds moving!

  11. Centers Centers allow for individual work, cooperative learning, social interaction, and small group reading instruction.

  12. Art, Music and P.E. • The students enjoy enrichment activities such as Fine Arts and Physical Education. • The Activities teachers are: Nicole Gordon (Art), Billy Ferguson (Music), and Pam Mayfield (P.E.).
