  2. ECRIN WG 4 ”This WP made a survey on existing resources for data management in the public research centres within the network. Based on this data, it prepares documents defining specifications for ECRIN data centres providing high-quality data management for multinational studies.”

Arbetsgrupp 4Data management • Arbete nr 9: Survey on data management, tools and procedures within ECRIN (13.7.2007) • Syfte: Uppskattning av DM struktur, resurser etc, intresset för multi-nationella studier inom ECRIN. Underlag för ev. ”ECRIN Datacenter” • Metod: Enkät till 167 center inom E.

WG 4 Datamanagement • Resultat: • 78 svar, flest från DK,FR,DE,IT. 2 från Sverige. • De flesta har datahantering/-inmatning (hälften inköpta system, 1/3 egenutvecklade system). • Mjukvaruvaruvariationen ett problem – vore öppen källkod bättre? • eCRF vanligt men ej använt fullt ut (monitor etc) • Nästan alla har SOPar men ej validering • Stort intresse för multinationella studier, men brist på erfarenhet och validerade system

WG 4 Datamanagement • Arbete nr 10: ”Recommendations for GCP compliant data management in multinational trials” färdigt sep ’08, finns på ECRINs hemsida. • Syfte: Recommendations for ensuring data quality in CT and for the harmonisation of interpretation of GCP requirements for data management within the ECRIN framwork.

WG 4 Datamanagement • Kap 3: Centrala krav • Kap 4: FDA • Kap 5: Viktiga delar för att säkra GCP i datamanagement • Källdata – vad är, hantering av • pCRF kontra eCRF • Aspekter på datoriserad hantering av data • Datamanagementprocedurer: Framtagande av CRFer, databaser, randomisering, datainmatning, -validering, queries, DMP, stängning • Viktiga dokument för datamanagement • eCRF: för-/nackdelar • Kvalitetshanteringssystem Förslag på SOPar etc

  7. WG 4 Datamanagement • Kap 6: Multinationella aspekter • Kultur, språk, lagar/regler ökar risken. Tekniska aspekter • Kap 7: ECRIN datacenter (->ECRIN PPI) • Bilagor: Listor på viktiga dokument, 4 scenarier för DM: helt pappersbaserat <–>helt digitaliserat; implikationer

  8. ECRIN-PPI • WP10– ”specificationson the requirements for ECRINdata centreswill be defined, then implemented through a first call for accreditation of a prototype data centre”

  9. ECRIN – PPI WG10 • ”To enable the efficient conduct of multinational clinical trials in ECRIN, the concept of ECRIN data centres will be developed. These data centres will offer data management services and the corresponding software tools to the ECRIN community.” • Ta fram ramar, krav och förutsättningar för ECRIN datacenter • Minst ett ECRIN datacenter klart i projektperioden

  10. ECRIN – PPI WG10 • Datacenter kommer att utvärderas och ska kunna utses till ECRIN datacenter • Kraven för detta och hur processen ska se ut ska arbetas fram • Datacenter som idag arbetar med ECRIN ska kunna ansöka.
