  2. BCMS library media center is designed to help you learn to locate, analyze, evaluate and interpret information and ideas. You should use the library to read, research, and learn! WELCOME!

  3. Our library offers a combination of print materials such as books and magazines

  4. along with electronic resources like computer programs, electronic databases and the internet to form a complete learning environment.

  5. We have materials for reading and research, for check-out and for in-library use.

  6. Library computers are to be used for educational purposes. 

  7. If you are not with your teacher, you must have a pass. • Leave your backpack next to the wall at the library entrance. • Enter the library quietly and remain that way while here. PROCEDURES

  8. Push your chair back under the table before leaving. • Check your area for any forgotten paper, books, pens/pencils.

  9. Leave the library quietly and in an orderly manner. • Remember to pick up your backpack.

  10. Only 3 books may be checked out at a time. Books are due back in the library after 3 weeks. Overdue items must be returned before more materials are checked out. THE RULES

  11. Overdue fines are 10¢ per book per day. Fines can also be paid with non-perishable food donations or donations for the local animal shelter.

  12. You may renew books before their due date. You may place books on hold. Some reference materials may be checked out but are due back in the library the next day.

  13. Visiting the library is a privilege. If you abuse it, you will lose it. Be productive in the library. Take proper care of the materials and equipment here. Abuse of library materials may result in the loss of library privileges. CONCLUSION
