  3. We, the project team, are going to plan an imaginary trip to Liverpool. Liverpool is more than just a city with a big reputation - It's the centre of a vast area of beauty, culture and entertainment that deserves exploration. Many of the attractions on offer are superb value or even free.

  4. What do we know about Liverpool now? • Liverpool is a city and metropolitan borough in Northwest England. The city is governed by Liverpool City Council, one of five councils within the Metropolitan county of Merseyside.

  5. It's Happening in LiverpoolHope Street... beating heart of a city that will forever be a European cultural capital. A street of astonishing beauty and stunning architecture. The world famous Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, the legendary Everyman Theatre and two majestically different cathedrals. The ornate Philharmonic pub where the Beatles used to meet. One of the coolest boutique hotels in the UK and some of the hottest restaurants. A fantastic starting point for a journey of discovery in a city bursting with culture and creativity. But then we would say that. Why not come and see for yourself? Don't wait.

  6. We have found out that the simplest and fastest way to get to Liverpool is by plane but also we can drive to France and from there we will cross the sea by ship.

One of the most important tourist attraction is F.C Liverpool stadium known for his wonderful fans. • Mention the name 'Liverpool' to almost anyone, anywhere in the world, and their almost instant reaction will be 'football'. The Northwest is a hotbed of footballing success, with seven Premiership clubs; the homes of two of them, Everton and Liverpool, are just minutes from Liverpool City Centre.

  8. Maritime Liverpool • When Britain was the world's maritime superpower, Liverpool was at the helm. The city was an enormously important mercantile centre, particularly well placed for trade with the New World. This tragically included human cargoes - slaves - and like Bristol, Southampton, Glasgow, London and other ports, Liverpool is making great efforts to educate today's generation on the trade's wrongs. You can find out about this rich history and much more at the Merseyside Maritime Museum on the Albert Dock.

  9. The Beatles • Getting Your Beatles Fix In a surprisingly short time, Liverpool's Beatles rewrote musical history. In their journey from Skiffle to Psychedelia to solo to supergroups they created dozens of masterpieces that are forever being reinterpreted. Not surprisingly, Liverpool has become the prime destination of Beatles fans old and new. Top of the list is The Beatles Story on the Albert Dock. It's a museum-cum-visitor attraction that's been informing and entertaining Beatles addicts for nearly 20 years.
