  1. MLK Found Poem Using words and phrases from the “I Have a Dream” speech, create a poem based on the speech. To begin: Decide your poem’s specific topic Find words or phrases in the speech that fit your topic Craft the words and phrases into your poem adding minor words and punctuation as needed Read the poem aloud to yourself, making sure it has proper rhythm and flow Poem must be at least 16 lines and at least 60 words.
