  1. ELASTIC® CROMO Alginate Impression Material

  2. INDICATIONS • Impressions for partial dentures • Preliminary impressions for complete dentures 3.Impressions for orthodontics 4. Impressions for study models 5.Impressions for temporary crowns and bridges

  3. FEATURES • Easy mixing • Smooth consistency • Optimum viscosity • Colour change indicator • Highly elastic impressions • Low deformation – high impressions stability • High compressive strength • 120 h pouring time • Precise details reproduction

  4. 120 h Dimensional stability

  5. MECHANICAL PROPERTIES • Compressive strength(Mpa)1,00 – 1,27 Practically means how strong or tear resistant is the impression, when you pull it out from the impression tray or plaster. Elastic Cromo has a high-optimum Compressive strength and at the same time high Temporary deformation (Strain in Compression = elasticity of the impression).

  6. MECHANICAL PROPERTIES • Permanent deformation(%)2,50 – 3,00 In simple words – how much % of the material does not recovers to the same volume position after being pressed, or pulled – Recovery from deformation is an oposite characteristic. Elastic Cromo has quite low Permanent deformation.

  7. MECHANICAL PROPERTIES • Temporary deformation(%) min. 11,00 Or it is also called Strain in Compression according to the new ISO norm – Temporary deformation differs from Strain in compression only in a way of measuring, but the figures are almost the same = elasticity of the material. Elastic Cromo belongs to the material with very high elasticity. Thus, the impression is easily removable from the patient´s mouth or the plaster cast.

  8. Properties benchmarking

  9. BENEFITS for DENTIST • Manipulation time controlledby continuous change of pink colour intensity • End of the working time – indicatedby white colour • Easy impression removalfrom the patient´s mouth • Impressiondimensional stability • Perfect details reproduction

  10. BENEFITS for DENTAL ASSISTANT • Easy mixing • Mixing time controlledby colour change – violet phase • Right time for the tray loading– indicatedby dark pink colour

  11. BENEFITS for PATIENT • Optimum material consistency – no flowout from the tray • Pleasantcherry scent, neutral taste • Fast settingin the mouth

  12. BENEFITS for LABORATORY • Impressionpouring timeup to 120 h • Easily removableimpression from the cast – high elasticity • Possibility of a secondimpressionpouring – high strength • Compatibility with plaster – high-qualitysurfaceof the cast
