  1. IB Learner Profile:Reflective Journal Entry #1: On a sheet of paper write a reflection of the first day of school. Write a paragraph explaining what you experienced, saw, and felt. Finally, discuss what strengths you possess that will make this a successful 7th grade year.

  2. IB Learner Profile:Communicator Journal Entry #2: In your notebook answer the following questions: What communication language do you speak? How do you communicate and express your ideas in school or at home? Who are some of the AWESOME communicators that you know or have heard of? What makes them AWESOME?

  3. IB Learner Profile:Open-Minded Journal Entry #3: In your notebook answer the following questions: What is a tradition that you value? Why is this important to you? Imagine someone from another culture was experiencing your tradition for the first time. How would you want them to act? Why? What can you do to be open-minded and show your respect to other cultures?

Directions:Whether it's Facebook or MySpace, many of you have your own page on a social networking site, or at least know about the sites. With this activity, you will design your own profile page on a piece of construction paper (Fakebook) to present to the class. This will give me and other classmates the opportunity to know you betterThings to include:a photograph – if you do not have one draw a picture that represents something important to youBasic information: where they were born, siblings, age education: schools attended activities interests music books movies
