  5. Explore Thailand’s history… Travel on famous bridge over River Kwai and ride the Death Railroad.

  6. Learn about the culture…

  7. Get to know its people… Visit a rural school and spend the day in a Karen village.

  8. Shop and eat in local markets…

  9. Visit historic places… Visit war cemetery, Three Pagodas Pass, sunken temple, etc.

  10. Class for Thailand study abroad: • Econ 475: Introduction to Southeast Asia • NO prerequisite. • Class will meet intensively for 3 days prior to departure. • Meets GOAL 9. • Content includes economics, social issues, history, religion, etc.
