  4. Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.

  5. Gluttony

  6. Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires.

  7. Greed

  8. Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness.

  9. Sloth

  10. Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.

  11. Wrath

  12. Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath.

  13. Envy

  14. Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation.

  15. Pride

  16. Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities, that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity.

  17. Seven Cardinal Virtues

  18. Chastity

  19. Chastity Abstaining from sexual conduct according to one's state in life. Embracing of moral wholesomeness and achieving purity of thought through education and betterment.

  20. Temperance

  21. Temperance Constant mindfulness of others and one's surroundings; practicing self-control, abstention, and moderation.

  22. Charity

  23. Charity Generosity. Willingness to give. A nobility of thought or actions.

  24. Diligence

  25. Diligence A zealous and careful nature in one's actions and work. Decisive work ethic. Budgeting one's time; monitoring one's own activities to guard against laziness.(The Vice "Acedia" is more commonly known as "Sloth")

  26. Patience

  27. Patience Forbearance and endurance through moderation. Resolving conflicts peacefully, as opposed to resorting to violence. The ability to forgive; to show mercy to sinners.

  28. Kindness

  29. Kindness Charity, compassion, friendship, and empathy without prejudice and for its own sake.

  30. Humility

  31. Humility Modest behavior, selflessness, and the giving of respect. Giving credit where credit is due; not unfairly glorifying one's own self.
