Paradox of biodiversity:species richness resource richness
Future • Raise profile of NRL in global organizations, such as Convention on Biological Diversity, Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES). • Strengthen teams of national / regional assessors and establish decentralized network of experts to support development of red lists.
Future • Use technology better to improve access to information and encourage public participation.
