About The Author: Ron “Doc” Fischer has been involved in car and truck restoration since 1980. His first car and restoration project was 1963 Chevrolet Impala. He still has this car. He has also built several other cars and trucks including a custom 1986 Suburban and his current home project a 1985 Chevrolet C10 with upgrades including air conditioning, tilt steering, cruise control and adding a factory tach. His day job is a doctor of chiropractic. He relates the process of fixing a car the same way as treating a patient. Take a good history, do a thorough examination and come up with a diagnosis and treatment plan.
