  4. At the Robert Ferguson Observatory in the Valley of the MoonI was up there to view “Minor Planet Antink” (Thanks, Lynnelle Ye!!) in September, 2010.On the wall is a plaque dedicated to my brother—he was instrumental in founding this observatory.

  5. My sister-in-law, Asata Gabrielle, and my brother, George Loyer, with their dogs—we were up at the observatory as part of a viewing party—hoping to see Planet Antink by 2 am.

  6. Husband, Bruce, hiking around the observatory—beautiful hillsides—great viewing--we were just waiting for the sun to set. 

  7. Just hiking about—waiting for the sun to go down—so the star show could begin!We saw tons of shooting stars! But Planet Antink didn’t rise until almost 4 am—and dawn broke. Dang it!

  8. One of the Math Department Adventures: Indoor Skydiving!Big fun! (Great hairstyle for me…)

  9. Chrystal and Ben—an engagement picture. The wedding is set for a great date, Brit style: 13/12/11

  10. Up at Northstar (North shore).Skiing, this trip—I also snowboard a little… Great spring skiing (2010)

  11. We’re just a couple of old snow-bunnies… Does that make us snow rabbits?

  12. I did write a Pascal Textbook (back in ‘95).Here’s the current crowd of fans reading it now!

  13. It does get a little crazy here at Paly—never boring—sometimes surprising!

  14. Thanks for checking stuff out-- It really was a fun day—I was just flying when the defense was all over!
