Newspaper of Ancient Thebes You are going to create the front page of a newspaper for the ancient city of Thebes during the time period Antigone takes place. • Your main feature (article) will have been written the day after Polyneices’ death and must concentrate on the recent events – all information must be accurate to the story. This article must be at least three paragraphs long (8-10 sentences per paragraph). You may throw in your own commentary or an interesting interview if you wish. • You must have at least four other pieces in your newspaper. Short articles, comics, advertisements, interviews, want ads and editorials may be used. • Be sure everything used is accurate to the time period • You will be graded on organization, completeness, grammar, mechanics and creativity. • This can be done on a word document or hand-made. • Don’t forget to come up with a title for your newspaper!
