  3. First Outreach “Food of Fortune,” spin the wheel and answer questions about fruits and veggies to win a prize! For K-12th grades and parents Took place in October during lunch and bus recess At North Powder Elementary in the cafeteria

  4. Students and parents learned fun facts about fruits and veggies and how to choose healthier foods

  5. Second Outreach Healthy Snacks Concession Stand For students and the community of North Powder Took place January 31stat a high school basketball game In the North Powder gym

  6. Taught students and the community about healthy snacking choices and encouraged choosing healthy snacks by making them available at the game

  7. Third Outreach Healthy SNACZ Fair 4th- 8thgrades in North Powder and in Imbler, Union, Cove, and Elgin Took place April 28th from 1:00- 3:30 pm In the multi-purpose room in North Powder Elementary

  8. The North Powder SNACZ Club booth taught why water is the best drink to choose and that many other drinks have added sugar Megan Reynolds, an OHSU Nursing Student, assisted with the North Powder fair
