  1. Daniel Maldonado Hi. My name is Daniel but close friends call me Dach (sounds like Dutch). I will be 20 yeas old this June and I will be a sophomore in Mechanical Engineering starting this Fall. I am from La Paz, Bolivia. I have one brother and one sister. They both graduated last semester. Now she is a Civil Engineer and he is an Industrial Engineer. The thing I most miss from Bolivia is my family, my dog, and my ATVs. I love music and sports. I love to be active and learn things everyday. Objective: As a peer mentor I want to provide the same help and support I received from my mentor. I want to help my mentees with their transition to college and become someone they can trust and feel comfortable asking for anything they need. I think it is important to create a good relationship between mentor and mentee so I can help my mentee not only with academics, but also with social activities. I hope ALL new Freshmen have a very nice experience here at the FEP.
