How are they similar? • What, or how much, help can you (expect to) get from your professor in turning a term paper into an article? Who else might offer assistance in this process? • What is your experience with the submission process – dealing with the editors, waiting times, blind reviews, etc.? • What is your experience with co-authoring an article? What does it mean – in practice and in terms of recognition (for SSHRC, jobs etc.) to be second (or third) author? • What is your experience with rejections (including revise, submit, reject)? • Do you ever feel as though you could not edit any more but receive feedback that requires this very process?
