Objectives of the course • Teaching the basics of active non-violence • Practical training in dealing with conflicts and situations of violence • Enable participants to pass the new experiences and knowledge to others

Target groups People who want to gain competence in dealing with conflicts in their private and professional life Non-violent activists People who engage in non-violence in political areas (NGOs, unions, religious communities) People who want to get acquainted with the theory and practice of non-violence
Programme 5 modules on weekends, from Friday afternoon to Sunday noon Module 1: Introduction Module 2: Non-violence in personal conflicts One week in summer: Topics chosen by the participants: Moral courage Peace education Non-violent life style Non-violence in religions Module 3: Nonviolence in social and political areas Module 4: Support of peace processes in a sustainable way Module 5: Economy –Work - ethics
