  1. Genes evolution and producing By: Jose Villasano Dulce santillano

  2. The genetics of similarity • . 12 February 1809 in Shrewsbury • .Charles Darwin in orgin of species (1859-1964) • He did not know about cells but he realized that a species characteristics must somehow be transmitted biologically from one generation to the next

  3. Innate human characteristics • 1.) Infant reflexes- babies are born with a number of reflexes • 2) An interest in novelty- novelty is intriguing to human beings and many other species 3) A desire to explore and manipulate objects- human babies shake rattles, bang pots, and grasp whatever is put into their tiny hands • 4) An impulse to play and fool around- animal babies when they play they help members of a species find food and other necessities of life learn to cope with their environments • 5)Basic cognitive skills- Born abilities that make it easy to learn to interpret the expressions and gestures of others, identity faces, figure out what others are thinking or feeling, distinguish plants from animals, distinguish living from on living things, and aquire language( Geary and Huffman 2002)

  4. Our human heritage courtship and mating • Sociobiology- emphasizes evolutionary explanations of social behavior in animals, including humans beings • Sense both males and females have different kinds of survival mating problems, cause of that they have evolved to And sexual strategies

  5. The meaning of heritability • The ability to inherit Transmission of character from one generation to another is known as heritability • Heritability applies only to a particular group living in a particular environment: it could be in a group and law in another • In a similar environment the Heritability is higher then in a diverse environment

  6. Stereotypes versus actual behavior • 1) the female sexual behavior does not seem to depend only on the goal of being fertilized by the male • Females have sex, when they are not ovulating and even when they are already pregnant • 2)what people say versus what they do ‘ • Hetro sexual women say ‘’ ideally they’d like a man who is rich and handsome and men say they’d like a women is good looking and sexy’’ • 3)Convince versus representative samples • Yet 66 percent of the men, compared to only 51 percent agreed or strongly agree with the statement “ it is better to get married than go through life being single’’

  7. The end • Thank you for watching
