  2. Welcome, Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to Edgemont’s magnificent theater. We are performing one of Shakespeare’s most popular comedy.

  3. Mr. Shakespeare prepared this especially for Queen Elizabeth, the finest and fairest of all the land.

  4. The play takes place in the palace of Leonato, the governor of Messina. He has a beautiful daughter, Hero, ad a lovely niece, Beatrice.

  5. Beatrice is secretly in love with the devoted bachelor, Benedick.

  6. Benedick is also awed by the lovely Beatrice.

  7. Will the wedding of the Hero take place or will she be shamed by her loving prince?

  8. Will the Friar be able to perform the wedding?

  9. Will Hero and Beatrice find their true love?

  10. What will the Prince do when he learns, or he thinks he learns his sweet Hero has been untrue to him?

  11. Dancing... • Music… • Food… • Drama….

  12. Will the prince find his true Hero? • Will Benedick deny his love for Beatrice? • Will they all live happily ever after? • Spend a royal evening with family, friends, and Shakespeare. • We hope to see you there!
