Types of Transport • Non-Emergent • Transports to hospitals or offices outside our area • “Dr. appointment” calls • Nursing & retirement homes • Repetitive (habitual) users • AMR Primary Option • Emergency • Subsequent calls • Heavy traffic conditions • During a “Resource Emergency” • During extremely inclement weather • Bothell Primary Option

  3. Transport Fee Review • If the person is a City of Bothell Resident • W/ Insurance: The Insurance company will be billed. Even if the insurance only pays a portion, it will be considered payment in full. The patient will not be billed for the remaining balance • W/out Insurance: Billing will be sent directly to the patient

  4. Transport Fee Review • If the person is a non-City of Bothell resident • W/ Insurance: The insurance company will be billed. If there is a remaining balance the patient will be billed for that portion • W/out Insurance: Billing will be sent directly to the patient

  5. No Charge for S.C.F.P.D. #10 Transports • Any incident that results in the transport of a S.C.F.D. #10 home owner, resident, business owner, business employee will not receive a bill • Residency is the deciding factor and not location as in the past, whether its at their home, business or on the streets of Bothell, no charges for transport

  6. “New Form” Hooray!!!

  7. Our gross collectible percentage is approximately 65% since 2003. The current reviews show a decline in signatures being obtained which creates a larger decrease in revenue. The 19% accounts for approximately $310,000 or $44,000 per year.
