  2. Duties • Help clients develop a core wardrobe • Create a vision through wardrobe a persons personality and goals • Work with magazines, movies, and commercials to set off the right mood of the characters • Help the client feel confident in their own skin

  3. Abilities & Personal Qualities • Good communication skills • Good sense of style and putting things together • Hard working • Know how to flatter all body types

  4. Salary & Education • Entry Level Fashion Stylists: $150-$200/day • Experienced Fashion Stylists: $500-$5,000/day • Top-level Fashion Stylists: above $5,000/day; $100,000 or more annually • There is no educational requirement to become a fashion stylist, but it is advised to get a 2 or 4 year fashion degree to develop knowledge of the fashion industry.

  5. Location & Availability • Stylists are popular in Los Angeles and New York. Celebrities in Hollywood hire stylists for red carpet events. • Stylists are hired in NY for NY Fashion Week. • Stylists are freelancers. They conduct business, market themselves and manage finances. • Develop clients through networking
