  2. Real Discipleship Applications FIRST: what goes on inside us is far more important that what happens outside us. SECOND: The message most important to us- and our world today- is the good news of the Kingdom of God. THIRD: God’s word, in its most minute detail, will always apply to our lives and will always endure after everything else has passed away.

  4. Proverbs 16:5 “Everyone who is arrogant in heart is an abomination to the Lord; be assured, he will not go unpunished”

  5. 1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.”

  6. Psalm 44:20-21 If we had forgotten the name of our God or spread out our hands to a foreign god, 21 would not God discover this? For he knows the secrets of the heart.
