  1. The crazy, cool adventures of Carlos the Carbon Atom By: Devyn Youngblood, Tyler Kirby, & Maci Tisdale

  2. It was a cold winter morning when Carlos went to Treeschool, He put on his new shades and was looking quite cool. He was running to class, trying not miss the bell. As he walked through the door, he heard a loud yell!

  3. He said, “Ohhh my LAWD, what could have made that sound?” Scratching his head as he looked all around. Still wondering what it could have been, He looked up to see Oliver & Otis in the form of oxygen.

  4. Realizing they were late they decided it was time to ride, So they joined up together to make carbon dioxide. As they made it to class just before the bell’s ring. The teacher told them “Time for photosynthesizing.”

  5. Carlos, Oliver, and Otis with a quick flash of light, Joined up with Walter the water atom, which began a cool sight. With Oliver and Otis split off in the air, hitting the roof with a loud clang. Next thing you know you saw the Glucose Gang.

  6. Soon Barry the bear, came to the treeschool. After starving all day, seeing the Glucose Gang made him start to drool. He ate them up quick with starving desperation. Soon began the part of the cycle called cellular respiration.

  7. Barry ran to the river, burning off his last meal. Soon out came Carlos, Oliver, & Otis! Reunited how good that must feel! They flew through the air as Carbon Dioxide. When Carlos’s dad Chico took them back to school, in his new blacked-out ride.

  8. Burning off more CO2 inside his car’s emission. So three buddies made it back to school, completing their mission. And so the story goes right back to the beginning. This whole thing has rhymed and my group is awesome, like Charlie Sheen, WINNING!

  9. And some of you may ask wait, what happened to Barry? Well he fell in the river and got hit by the ferry!
