Ilias Atwani is Working as Mine Controller Coordinator in a Gold Mining Company Ilias Atwani is a renowned mining engineering professional who has working with many leading companies in the mining industry. He performed various tasks in the position of a Mining Engineer. He ensured the safety and compliance of employees with current Provincial and Federal regulations, and corporate policies. Besides, he was accountable for the realization of production goals, and optimal fleet and workforce utilization. Pertaining to his areas of specialization as a mining engineering professional, Ilias is skilled in Mining Oriented Operational Analysis/Modeling: Surpac®, Whittle®, Talpac®; Programming: Matlab®, C/C++, VB; Management and Logistics: SAP®, JD Edwards®; and CAD Software like AutoCAD® (Amine & Promine), SolidWorks®, Silverscreen® (CAMP), 3D Reshaper®. Currently,Ilias Atwani is working as a Mine Controller Coordinator in a well-known Canadian gold mining company where he is able to put all his skills to the best use. Being an alumnus of Laval University, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Mineral and Mining Engineering. Adding to his skills, Atwani is a creative photographer who has a earned a number of awards. Once he got an opportunity to visit two Inuit villages with Noah, a local resident, as a reward for winning one of the contests called Art of Mining. He considered this opportunity as one of the most rewarding experiences of his life. During this visit, Ilias got to know the actual significance of Inukshuk, a symbol his company derives its inspiration from. Apart from this, Ilias Atwani also learnt many other things about the rich heritage of the Inuit culture and made some great memories during the trip. Thereafter, Noah and his family gifted him the traditional anorak as a token of respect. He expressed his deep gratitude by accepting the gift. His passion for photography brought him the best experience of his life.
