In the beginning,. God said. GOD. t he word. The Word. became. flesh, blood and bones!. and for a time. lived here. as a human being. The light shone. but the darkness has not understood it. But, to those who believed. He gave the right to become. Children of God!. Still true today.

  1. In the beginning, God said... GOD the word

  2. The Word became flesh, blood and bones!

  3. and for a time lived here as a human being

  4. The light shone but the darkness has not understood it

  5. But, to those who believed He gave the right to become Children of God!

  6. Still true today No matter what our age Or race, or background, or intellect, or where we live...

  7. The Lord is here! His Spirit is with us

  8. So...? • The perfect Christmas is guaranteed! • No, not all that hype • Nor impossible expectations of family or friends • Nor the phantom relaxing break, with nobody poorly or stuck in traffic • But He is here! • Now! • This afternoon • Tomorrow • Even on Monday January 27th 2014

  9. Not as a fairy-tale baby • But as the creator of the universe, alive in you and me through his Holy Spirit

  10. All: The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters.

  11. Enquirer:Who may ascend the hill of the LORD? Who may stand in his holy place?

  12. All: Those who have clean hands and a pure heart, who do not lift their souls to an idol or swear by what is false. They will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God their Saviour.

  13. (Because of what God has done at Christmas, Good Friday and Easter, we can say with the psalmist:)Enquirer:Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob.

  14. Right side:Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.

  15. Left side:Who is this King of glory?

  16. Right side: The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

  17. Right side: Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.

  18. Left side:Who is this King of glory?

  19. All: The LORD Almighty - he is the King of glory!
