  2. Dilemma Norman and the Donkey must determine how to convert a fraction to it’s decimal equivalent.

  3. Meet Norman • Norman the Numerator

  4. Meet the Donkey Donkey the Denominator

  5. Our story begins as Norman rides the donkey to work as a FRACTION.

  6. When Norman comes home from work, he is eager to change out of his work clothes and into other RATIONAL form.

  7. Norman goes into the house but the donkeystays outside to rest.

  8. Before Norman can change into anything else he must complete his chores by putting a decimal on the roof and…

  9. open the back door to let in three zero’s.

  10. Now Norman is ready to change from his FRACTION work clothes to his DECIMAL PJ’s and call it a day!

  13. So, when you need to change from a fraction to a decimal, just remember the story of Norman and his donkey. The End!
