  1. “Jesus, My Lord” “And Thomas answered and said to Him, ‘My Lord and my God!’” John 20:28 • It is important that every Christian: • Thinks of Jesus as “My Lord.” • Appreciates what it means to have Jesus as “My Lord.”

  2. Definitions – “Lord” Kurios - meaning “power”. Variously translated “master”, “owner”. Describes one having “power” or “authority” (cf. Matthew 28:18)
