  2. Equity Assurance Plan • SPIU to ensure that stipends to the SC/ST/BPL students are timely disbursed by the concerned State departments • State to explore possibility of enhancing stipends for SC/ST/BPL students • State to find ways and means for reducing cost burden on SC/ST/BPL students

  3. Equity Assurance Plan • Maximize filling of reserved posts in project ITIs through pro-active steps • In line with State policies, take appropriate actions to increase student intake from the disadvantaged groups • Establish TCPC in each ITI • TCPC to make special efforts for increasing placement of SC/ST and women students
