Treaty of Paris of 1763 • Britain and France signed the Treaty of Paris bringing the war to an end. • The Treaty marked the end of French power in North America. • Terms • Britain gained Canada and all French lands east of the Mississippi except New Orleans. • Spain gave up Florida to Britain but received all French land west of the Mississippi and New Orleans. • Spain helped Britain near the end of the war and therefore was rewarded.
