  3. Enterprise without Borders (EwB) is designed to give students in Company Programme the opportunity to create cross-border partnerships as part of their JA-YE experience. Through a website, teachers and schools can register for participation and students can upload their company profiles and enter an entrepreneurial ‘dating game’. EwB – What is it?

EwB Objectives • Promote the spirit of enterprise and an understanding of the economic principles of European trade among educators and students • Raise awareness of entrepreneurship education in the wider community • Introduce students to trade across borders, setting up and managing an enterprise, working with other business cultures • Promote attitudes for personal success, lifelong learning and employability • Foster sensitivity to other cultures, as well as cross-cultural understanding

EwB keys & ideas for the future • Teachers “school to school links” are the KEY to the programme • Programme materials are available on the www.ja-ye.org website • Human exchanges are important both for teachers and students → EWB Cafes at Trade Fair and Company Competition • Organize regional teacher meetings/teacher conference? • Create an star points system to award the students and measure the success of their trading • The winner of the Best Joint-Venture competition to be invited at the CC and have a stand and give them the possibility for a few minutes presentation
