  1. August 2nd – 4th 2013 Festival Sponsors Information Package

  2. Thank you The Curry Merry Muster Festival committee would like to thank your company for your interest in supporting the 59th Festival. The 2013 Festival will be held from 2nd – 4th August 2013. The Festival is in its 58th year and is testimony to the community of Cloncurry. The original rodeo was developed to bring the community together and showcase who of the most popular sports in Cloncurry, Rodeo. Since then the volunteer committee has worked to develop a diverse program that celebrates Rodeo and the community for all the ages. The 2013 Festival program will incorporate lawn bowls, rodeo teddy bears picnic and the popular and colourful Street Parade, previously known as the Mardi Gra. This parade attracts over 40 floats from local schools, community groups and businesses celebrating the selected theme of the year. This Parade leads into the Bushman’s Bash on the Friday night; it incorporates community stalls, food, bar, live entertainment and a feature rodeo. The main event, the Rodeo runs from the morning into the evening, finishing with fantastic live entertainment. Sunday is a recovery day with Country Markets and the now famous Poets Breakfast. This Breakfast attracts local and visiting poets to share their love of poetry. With a traditional camp oven breakfast the day is a wonderful way to relax after two days of action packed activity. The Festival is an important opportunity to make a positive impact on the economic prosperity of Cloncurry through the attraction of tourists, visitors, participants and competitors to the event. The Festival reinvests all profits directly back into the Festival to assist with the growth and development of the event. The aim is to increase local community participation in the Festival by incorporating as many charity and not-for-profit organisations as possible to help grow the event through collaboration and shared resources. Our youth is also high on our priority list by encouraging youth participation and youth development as part of the Festival. This is your opportunity to get involved with this very exciting event and to gain regional exposure for your business at the same time. The committee encourage you to make contact our Sponsorship Coordinator; Peta McIntyre to ensure the package is right for you. The committee look forward to working with you as part of the Curry Merry Muster Festival and promoting your business in the Great North West. Yours sincerely Committee Curry Merry Muster Festival
