  2. Bornemissza György vezetésével 43 ganéjtúrófajt telepítettek be Ausztráliába 1965 és 1985 között, amelyek közül 23 meghonosodott. Minden területre olyan fajok kerültek, amelyek eredeti hazájukban is hasonló éghajlaton éltek.

  7. A leggyakoribb betelepített faj Ausztráliában: Onthophagus gazella(Dél-Afrika)

  8. 2001 Medal of the Order of Australia „For service to science and entomology, particularly through the ecological study of dung beetles and the introduction of new species to Australia.”

  9. 1983: nyugdíjba vonulás, Tasmania. • Újabb feladatok: • természetvédelem • szarvasbogarak • „őscincérek” (Prioninae) • - a legnagyobb kiállított bogárgyűjtemény (5000 példány, 125 dobozban)

  10. A kiállításban 5 témakör: • méret- allometria- szín- ivari kétalakúság- állatföldrajz • A gyűjtemény nagy része ma a Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery (Hobart) tulajdona
