  1. Insaan Group is formed as a global philanthropic fund of funds, focusing initially on Afghanistan and India, and qualifies as a tax exempt, public charity (501 c 3) under US law. Insaan's aim is to make philanthropy more effective by applying sound investment principles to the field of global philanthropy https://insaangroup.org/

  3. AmelieZegmout took the Executive MBA (EMBA) in Dubai knowing it would open doors to new career opportunities. Within months of starting the programme in early 2015, she left a business development role for a general management one at Legrand, which develops electrical and digital infrastructure for buildings.

FarahnazKarim is the founder and CEO of Insaan Group, a philanthropy fund that connects philanthropists and corporations to impactful social enterprises around education and entrepreneurship in the monsoon region. She has worked in several development contexts including Tajikistan, Palestine, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Pakistan, India and five years on the ground experience in Taliban and post-Taliban Afghanistan, with the UN, non-profits and the World Bank.
