Facilities Issues • Second largest college at UIC • Only college at UIC without ANY designated building. • Only have 2 dedicated classrooms • Offices barely adequate for current faculty • Offices in UH & rented space in Rice Building, Computer Lab in EPASW • Classrooms in 6 buildings on East Side
CBA Budget RequestFY05-FY08 Enhance Facilities • New CBA Building on UIC Capital Priorities List • Other Options to Explore: • Move MBA offices from the Rice Building to Taft Hall which becomes the headquarters of the LGSB • Acquire Rice Building to house LGSB classrooms, faculty offices & computer lab • Acquire and renovate some other building to house LGSB
